Davao City is proud to celebrate its 10th year of being a “100% smoke-free place.” Tarpaulins of this message are everywhere—malls, food establishments, and even in the campus. I wonder how they implement this ordinance in the city because apparently, it was never a hundred percent.
I go to school everyday taking the Roxas route. Even when I am still inside the jeepney, I can already see stickers that say: No Smoking. But the driver himself blows smoke from cigarette just like his jeepney blows from its burnt fuel. How ironic.

Samahan initiates voters’ satellite registration
In cooperation with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) in Davao City, the Samahan ng Mag-aaral ng Pamantasan ng Ateneo de Davao (SAMAHAN), Ateneo’s student council, conducted a voters’ satellite registration for Ateneans.

Birthday tragedy
